"Reputable painters out there?"
I currently live in a two year old home with the original "builder paint" on all the walls. With three children, two dogs, and walls that cannot be wiped down without paint coming off we are setting ourselves up for disaster. Would love to have someone come in and add some life to our home and make the walls more geared toward reasonable living. I'm looking for someone in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area to come in and add some color and life to our home without spending a fortune. We have been told to contact the local art schools/colleges. Any feedback or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you

Wendy, I'm in Wisconsin, so of absolutely no use to you at all. Hwvr would suggest you post your message/request under two other conferences. Hit the Wall and Pro Talk. Wendy, I am located in Northwest Louisiana, only about 3 hours away. If you cannot find a reputable, professional in DFW area maybe we can work something out. There aren't a lot of true, craftsman-quality painters anymore. Most of what you find are untrained "yahoos" that buy a brush and roller and call themselves painters.
