Sandra Kiss London biographyBorn in Massachusetts, Sandra Kiss London is a self-taught artist and entrepreneur with an innate passion for the arts and beautiful textures. She has developed a reputation as a leading innovator, designer and educator for the decorative painting industry. Sandra received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1990. She spent the following year in Europe, immersing herself in art and culture. Upon her return, Sandra worked for the prestigious Los Angeles advertising agency, Ogilvy & Mather. There she came across a newspaper ad offering classes in faux finishing ... the rest is history. Sandra Kiss London entered the world of decorative painting, dedicating several years to studying the art. She is best known for her patterns, marbleizing, wood graining and subtle approach to textures. All of her designs have a sense of timelessness, simplicity and balance – Spoken through the language of color. She has professionally faux finished more than 400 homes and has worked with leading designers on both East and West coasts. Her work and practical approach to business has been featured in several publications, including the cover of Design Times Magazine for her spectacular marble work. She has also made several television appearances, on NECN’s New England Dream Home, The Style Network and most recently Comcast’s American Builder. Sandra’s unique approach to design and her willingness to share her knowledge has spearheaded an industry wide movement, helping countless decorative artists around the country to “think outside the box” and cultivate new and innovative finishes.
