Polished Plaster - Neutral Base: Gallon

OVERVIEW: Polished Plaster is a water base, eco-friendly Venetian plaster that can be tinted to any Benjamin Moore color. When waxed, Polished Plaster is as smooth as marble and will add a rich elegance to any living environment.

 

APPLICATION: Roll out two even coats of Polished Plaster using a velour roller. Let dry one hour. Using a spatula, thinly apply another layer of Polished Plaster in a crosshatch pattern. Hold spatula at a shallow angle as you apply thin layers, overlapping each stroke. Cover the entire surface and let dry 1 hour. Repeat this step for additional texture. Using a spatula, apply one coat of Clear-Flat Wax in the same crosshatch pattern. As you add the wax, the plaster will come alive and deepen in color. One coat is sufficient for protection. Let dry 8 hrs. Burnish by rubbing your spatula at a shallow angle. All of our plasters can also be applied with a roller, trowel, brush or sponge creating endless variety of finishes. TINTING: All of our plasters can be tinted by using universal tints or artist’s acrylics. Do not tint with latex paint. A drill bit mixer is helpful when mixing in the tint. If you're tinting your plaster at a paint retailer, verify that the store follows the Faux Like a Pro tinting chart. Download tinting chart.
